Brisbane 2033: Legacy Project

Corporate Leader Briefing: A transformational urban renewal precinct for the ‘O32 River City’

The multi-disciplinary Brisbane Design Alliance team of HKS, Buchan, NRA Collaborative, Aurecon and Nikken Sekkei, has come together to explore the potential for a new, accessible, community-focused, urban renewal precinct with the opportunity for the 2032 Games as a major beneficiary.

You are invited to a closed door* Committee for Brisbane private market consultation to hear about and provide feedback to the Design Alliance’s proposed transformational urban renewal precinct anchored by a privately funded stadium. Hear how the Design Alliance is exploring an opportunity for Brisbane to be recognised as a world leader in city shaping and placemaking for the future.

Brisbane has a once-in-a-generation opportunity in the lead up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games to transform into an integrated, inclusive city, with world-class infrastructure, while fulfilling the IOC’s ‘new norm’ of a Games that fits a city.
