Benefits
As a member of the Committee for Brisbane you will contribute to the growth of the region and actively participate in an organisation with a proud 60+ year history as a strong, independent voice for greater Brisbane.
Depending on your level of membership, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic insights and support for Committee activities, including research-led policy development, thought leadership commentary, and attendance/support at important Committee for Brisbane events.
In turn, the Committee for Brisbane will provide multiple avenues – such as public event speaking/moderating, Ministerial briefings, newsletters and social media – for you to influence public policy and realise the opportunities and resolve the challenges of a growing, greater Brisbane.

Categories
As a Corporate Leader, you enjoy the most senior level of membership with the Committee for Brisbane.
This membership category is limited to a maximum of 25 members (plus up to five members who will contribute a minimum of $20,000 worth of pro bono critical support each year).
Your patronage is, essentially, a partnership with the Committee for Brisbane that will call upon you/your organisation for strategic insights and support for its many activities, including research-led policy development, thought leadership
commentary (from your sector experts), and attendance/support at important Committee for Brisbane events.
In turn, the Committee for Brisbane will provide multiple avenues – such as public event speaking/moderating, Ministerial briefings, newsletters and social media – for you/your organisation, via your sector specialists and thought leaders, to influence public policy and realise the opportunities and resolve the challenges of a growing, greater Brisbane.
As a Corporate Leader you will contribute to the growth of the region and actively participate in an organisation with a proud 60+ year history as a strong, independent voice for greater Brisbane.
Access and Exclusivity
- Invitation (1 person) to an exclusive briefing for the Premier and/or Senior Ministers
- Invitation (1 person) to an exclusive briefing for the Opposition Leader and/or Senior Shadow Ministers
- Invitation (1 person) to an exclusive briefing for the Lord Mayor and/or Civic Cabinet members
- Invitations (2 per annum) to attend other member briefings (approx. 4 held per year)
- Opportunity to provide a speaker/moderator at one CFB event
- Invitations (2 persons) to the President’s annual Advisory Council cocktails
- Head table seat at one headline event
The Committee for Brisbane has calculated these membership benefits at $8,650 per annum
Participation
- 6 x seats at the annual “Debate for Brisbane” – cost included in membership fee
- 10 x seats (per annum) at any CFB breakfast and/or lunch event – cost included in membership fee
- 3 x tables of 10 (per annum) at CFB headline events – cost included in membership fee
- 6 x tickets (per annum) to any CFB evening (non-seated) event – cost included in membership fee
- Member discounts for additional event tickets
The real value of these seats/tickets is $9,300 per annum
Governance
- Eligibility for one of four Corporate Leader positions on the Management Committee
- (Minimum of one) representative to participate on a CFB Sub-Committee (for 12 months)
Branding
- Opportunity to host exclusive briefing with Premier and/or Senior Ministers
- Opportunity to host exclusive briefing with Opposition Leader and/or Senior Shadow Ministers

In turn, the Committee for Brisbane will provide avenues – such as via newsletters and social media – for you to influence public policy and realise the opportunities and resolve the challenges of a growing, greater Brisbane.
As an Associate Member you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the region and participate in an organisation with a proud 60+ year history as a strong, independent voice for greater Brisbane.

In turn, the Committee for Brisbane will share information and knowledge via newsletters and social media to keep you up to date with its policy activities that will be designed to realise the opportunities and resolve the challenges of a growing, greater Brisbane.
As a Student Member, you will have the opportunity to participate in an organisation with a proud 60+ year history as a strong, independent voice for greater Brisbane.
Note: Student Members are not entitled to vote at general meetings.

The Affiliate category of membership has been developed to encourage no-fee, cross-membership with relevant industry-based associations, not-for-profits and charities.
In turn, your organisation will offer reciprocal, no-fee membership to the Committee for Brisbane.
As an Affiliate, your organisation has the opportunity to observe and participate in the work of the Committee for Brisbane, including research-led policy development and attendance/support at important Committee for Brisbane events.
The Committee for Brisbane will, from time to time, seek to bring together its Affiliates for cross-industry discussion on key policy challenges.
The Committee for Brisbane will share information and knowledge with your organisation via newsletters and social media to keep you up to date with the Committee’s policy activities that will be designed to realise the opportunities and resolve the challenges of a growing, greater Brisbane.
As an Affiliate you will have the opportunity to participate in an organisation with a proud 60+ year history as a strong, independent voice for greater Brisbane.
