Who We Are

The Committee for Brisbane is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to helping shape greater Brisbane as the world’s most liveable place.

For more than 60 years, the Committee for Brisbane has been an influential, apolitical organisation that provides strong advocacy in creating a better greater Brisbane. Our forums provide a platform for robust discourse and debate on big ideas and issues to shape a more dynamic and exciting city and region.

Our membership is drawn from diverse areas of corporate and business sectors, the creative industries, the higher education sector and community.

The Committee for Brisbane is supported by an Advisory Council of experienced and well-known Brisbane business and community leaders who provide thought leadership, policy and activity advice to the Committee for Brisbane.
